New REHAU System 2090 Sliding Patio Door Offers Simplified Fabrication, Minimized Installation Costs
LEESBURG, Va.– REHAU announces the availability of the System 2090 sliding patio door. With a 4 9/16-inch frame and eight-profile PVC design, the System 2090 offers minimized costs and a more streamlined fabrication process.
“The new System 2090 is an appealing choice for fabricators as its design keeps costs down and simplifies fabrication,” said Brian Guyer, business team manager for REHAU’s window and door group. “Builders will find its ease of operation and significant daylight view equally as appealing, while its interchangeable hardware options offer an attractive benefit to architects and homeowners.
”The new System 2090 sliding patio door is easily installed and can be “cartwheeled” in the field to allow either left-hand or right-hand operation. It can accommodate brick structures via a clean flat jamb, and is also available in a J-frame version for sided structures.
Ideal for new construction stick-built and light commercial applications, the System 2090 sliding patio door system is capable of reaching .29 U-factors and offers Energy Star conformance of less than .35 U-factors. It also offers a uniform load structural result of +/-75.0 PSF necessary to meet DP-50 (AAMA 6-0-6-8) standards.
The System 2090 sliding patio door features integral interlocks at the meeting rail that increase structural performance. It is available with integral nail fin, J-channel or replacement frame options to meet the needs of a wide scope of applications. Able to accept both aluminum and steel reinforcement, the System 2090 is offered in white and beige color options.
