REHAU takes a clean approach in the painting of components. Hydro-systems (water-based paints) are increasingly replacing the solvents currently used in the manufacturing process.Ongoing investments in ultra-modern facilities and processes ensure REHAU continues as a role model in matters pertaining to environmental protection.
- Exhaust from the painting process is not released into the environment, but rather recirculated and burned for energy. The exhaust from this process is now comprised of only carbon dioxide and water vapor. Heat released during this process can be used for drying painted parts.
