RAUPANEL™ Radiant Heating
Innovative dry system offers both performance and comfort
REHAU's patented RAUPANEL system is an innovative “dry” method of installing radiant heating systems. It offers optimal performance and responds quickly to heating requirements, providing uniform, comfortable heat in a single room or throughout the home. It is compatible with commonly used floor coverings and installation is viable without a concrete overpour, making it ideal for retrofit applications, as well as new construction. The system consists of aluminum panels, wood return bends, wood furring strips, and 3/8” RAUPEX® O2 Barrier pipe. - Extruded for strength, aluminum panels offer high conductivity with a low profile and low weight (1.6 lb/ft2)
- Eliminates the need for structural reinforcement
- Panels use 3/8” RAUPEX® O2 Barrier Pipe
- Easy to install
- Complete engineered system
- Fast response time limits setpoint overshoot; easy to zone
- Flexible pipe spacing
- Can be installed in walls and ceilings
- Accepts 3/8” RAUPEX O2 Barrier pipe
- RAUPANEL size measures 6” x 72” x .625”
- 6” Return bends are 8” x 48” .625”
- 8” Return bends are 9” x 48” x .625”
- Furring strips are 2" x 48” .625”
- Produces the highest output per square foot with the lowest water temperature
- Provides the most even floor, wall, or ceiling surface temperature
- Directs more heat upwards/outwards to the surface, not to the room below - "directional efficiency"
- Allows the most flexibility for pipe layout patterns
