Residential Fire Protection

System Overview

RAUPEX® cross-linked polyethylene (PEXa) pipe combined with the EVERLOC® compression-sleeve fitting and residential sprinkler heads, meets the requirements for integrated fire protection systems set by the National Fire Protection Association for one- and two-family homes and manufactured housing.

RAUPEX Pipe and EVERLOC fittings provide the perfect basis for a robust yet flexible residential fire protection system. REHAU fire protection is a life safety system.
  • In the event of a fire it can significantly control spread of the blaze to the area or room of origin
  • Used with smoke detectors, the system improves protection against injury, loss of life and property damage
  • UL listings are applicable to pipe from 3/4" to 2" in diameter

The REHAU fire protection sprinkler/plumbing systems is intended for use in residential occupancies as defined in the standard NFPA 13D, Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One- and Two- Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes.
  • UL Listed to U.S. requirements in accordance with UL 1821, Thermoplastic Sprinkler Pipe and Fittings Fire Protection Service
  • C-UL Listed to Canadian requirements in accordance with ULC/ORD-C199P-02, Combustible Piping for Sprinkler Systems
  • UL listed to UL 1285 and UL 1713 for Underground Fire Service as defined by NFPA 24
  • In addition, Fire protection RAUPEX Pipe and EVERLOC fittings meet the same potable water standards as our PEX plumbing range.
