REHAU-Polytec 50 Hybrid Curtain Wall System
REHAU-Polytec 50 curtain wall system combines the economics of polymer materials with the advantages of conventional transom/mullion construction, with the same profile acting as both transom and mullion helping to eliminate wastage.Variable static load factors can be accommodated by using a wide range of steel profiles and there is a corresponding selection of snap-on profiles available for design purposes. It is a slim system with the face profiles measuring just 50 mm.
REHAU-Polytec 50 is available in white and a vast range of RAL colors using powder coating or anodizing.
The system has been tested for air leakage resistance according to ASTM E283-04 and for water penetration resistance according to ASTM E331-00 and ASTM E547-00. Specific testing for wind and water penetration can be commissioned for individual projects when required.
